RMK Tõrvanina study trail

Tõrvanina study trail runs along Tareste Landscape Protection Area with both small bog areas and sand dunes by the trail. There are 13 information boards along the trail describing local flora and fauna. You can observe activities of birds from the bird observation platform located by the Tareste Bay. In autumn you can pick blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms growing by the trail.

The 4 km long hiking trail with red indication marks starts and ends near the Tõrvanina beach and campsite. There are 7 covered fireplaces and sheltered picnic tables by the trail. Singing sands and sea with rather quickly deepening water await you at the Tõrvanina beach.
