See photos (12) The winding track along the left bank of the River Pärnu forms a full circle with a track on the opposite bank. The track is known as Jaanson's Track. Both are 4 km long, but leave very different impressions. The track is unique thanks to the oar-shaped street lights. It also has bicycle racks, benches, and maps of the track.
In summer, a ship sails near the bridge in the city centre from where you can admire the banks of the Pärnu River. There is also a boat rental point nearby. The Papiniidu side of the trail leads to Veterans Park, where you can go for a swim both in summer and in winter. It also has campfire and recreation places. The Jõekääru disc golf course starts in the park.
Wheelchair access
You can get to the left bank of Jaanson’s track from the Pärnu city centre bridge or at the other end from the Papiniidu bridge. The nearest free parking lot is located in the city centre at Kalda 4. There is free parking around the Papiniidu bridge.
