Tartu St. Paul’s Church is the only Art Nouveau sacral building in Estonia and one of the most magnificent churches built in Estonia in the 20th century. In the course of a major renovation from 2008–2015, a crypt and a columbarium were built under the church hall.
The unique-looking crypt hall can seat up to 100 people and can be used for holding seminars, prayers, and other events suitable for the church.
You can also visit the spire of St. Paul's Church in Tartu and the Pauluse Bookstore in the left wing building, where you will find various literature, a large selection of Christian symbols, souvenirs, and church utensils.
Wheelchair access
The church is a 15-minute walk from the city centre and close to the Widget Factory and the TYPA Printing and Paper Museum. Pauluse bus stop is right in front of the church. The train station is a nine-minute walk away.
